Maybe, just maybe, it requires DX10... There are plenty of games whose devs decided not to port them to DX9, hence their minimal requirement being Vista... ;))

the minimum requirements is vista. i have installed it but yes i cant open the game. when i open the game it says error to initialize ( 0x00004....) something like that.

as I said I really don't see a reason why you wouldn't be able to run it on xp. ;)
I can't say for sure though, since I haver neither ran it on xp nor even played it..
