Vanquish is a third-person shooter video game developed by Platinum Games and published by Sega for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 video game consoles. Having been in development since 2007, the game was released in October 2010. The game was created by the team previously responsible for Resident Evil 4, including lead director Shinji Mikami. Vanquish is notable for introducing several innovations to the 3D shooter genre, including a fast-paced style of gameplay reminiscent of 2D bullet hell shooters, and a sliding-boost mechanic.
The best chance at playing Vanquish at recommended sys specs on a 1920x1080 screen resolution will be if your PC has at least the GeForce GTX 660 Ti/Radeon R9 270 v2 graphics card. The CPU required to meet recommended requirements is either an AMD FX-8320 or Intel Core i5-2550K 3.4GHz processor. This type of gaming rig will deliver you around the 60 Frames per second. Vanquish needs a Core i3-530 2.9GHz or Phenom 9600 Quad-Core Black Edition processor coupled with a GeForce GTX 460 v2 to get it to run minimum system requirements. This will return around 30FPS at 720p screen res on low graphics settings, but you can also adjust the settings further to tweak. In short you need a 7 year old PC for best Vanquish performance.
