2012 has nearly ended and we've still not heard any update, various gaming websites have rumored that Valve have decided to scrap HL2 EP3 and replace it with HL3 which apparently will be a free roam sort of game. The concept art doesn't give much of an indication either on what the game will be like. One of the images suggested that there was an 80's looking guy with long hair standing underneath a weird swirly xen type thing.
