This game is not poorly optimized, these requirements are just horribly inaccurate as the game has changed a lot. 'Soft Particles' is the probably what's causing your issues if you have a decent rig. I play on max settings with FXAA at 1440p-ish with constant 60fps unless I have soft particles on.

Yeah if you play in 1280 x 720 and have most things on low to medium you could play the game on a solid 30 to 40 fps in most areas.
For those of you wanting to know if you can run it: Probably not. It's because some terrible coding in the AI, where the game runs at 3 million fps on any setting but the moment combat kicks in, expect 12. Atleast, on my rig.

yeah that's YOUR rig and your rig only. BTW turn off 'soft particles' in your settings, that will make a difference.
Since this is on sale can i run it on 720p ?
Nah man, game is horribly, HORRIBLY optimized. I can't run it, but hey you can get it on steam and refund within 2 hours so, give it a shot anyway, maybe it does somehow work for you.
