Don't know what Tareing are baseing his feedback on, but trust me on this one; GTA IV doesn't work well with integrated graphic. For medium or high settings you should get more RAM and a dedicated GPU like GTX 750ti, maybe 660 for high settings. It might run, but that would most likely be on low settings because of integrated graphics :)

Yes the requirements for GTA IV are lower, but in reality GTA IV are almost as demanding as GTA V. Also, GTA IVs graphics are almost as high as GTA V on max settings (just without MSAA). To think that GTA IV can be maxed out on core2quad and 8800GT are just plain dumb.

Really badly optimized or is my CPU still not strong enough? I can never get 60 FPS. Not even on 1280x768.

Both, the game is somewhat poor optimized, but your CPU are unfortunally not strong enough either. To get 60 stable on 1080p I think you will need at least an intel i7 3/4th gen or higher, as this game are extremely CPU intensive.

This game has bad optimisation, my framerate when playing this game ranges from 30-60, and it only really reaches 60 in inside areas.

well this game is cpu demanding so a core i3 at this optimisation its gonna run bad it havin a 4 ghz clock speed may make this game run 60 fps

570 and i5 won't cut this game, sorry. GTA IV actually has a similar engine to GTA V, and in all honestly this one are not anyless demanding than GTA V. To max this game on 60fps I think you will need at least a GTX 970 or 780 with an intel i7 CPU. I run the game stable at 60, all maxed out in comparsion.

i guess you can go with a 9800 gt its a fine gpu for you rig, if you wanna keep this rig you should add at least 2 gigs for ram. just saying core2duo isnt much of a gaming cpu anymore xD

Yeah if you want to play games with the sweet eye candy, save your money. But if yiu want to play games of past generation(as you havent) i.e. from year 2008 to 2013, you can spend 60 dollars on geforce gt 630. Very good card with low price. You would save 300 dollars. Then keep saving money for a new rig. You can play almost every game upto 2013 on low settings with good fps. So, you can know the story of the franchises released from 2008 and so. Just check youtube about gameplay on geforce gt 610. You don't need to upgrade ram as 2 gb is enough

2gb ram is enough for games upto 2013. Btw look at my rig. I can play all games on lowest resolution and settings. And my gpu is very weak. But with gt 630, you could play games on hd resolution and low settings upto 2013. Your cpu won't be a problem as it is above minimum of all games upto 2013. After 2013 the quad core become the minimum. So you can buy a gt 630 and play previous games of current franchises so that you can catch up with the story going in the present titiles( like Assassins Creed........

06:51 Jul-18-2015

..... which has a long story and you should check the previous titles first as it will attach you to thw core od the franchise. So in this way you would be able to play games as well with gt630 and catch up with the storyline and the buy a new rig with the savwd money and blast all games to ultra on full hd. Though there are good cards better than gt 630 with higher price and which would work with dual cores but I would not recommend that as it would not give you much benefit. Rather get the gt 630 and save money. Hope it helps.
