-Have anyone here encountered the same problem as me?
-I play it maxed (+SMAAx1 ultra) most crashes were dust by disabling Wind-Affected Snow. (FPS heal+less probs)
-Prime suspect is NZXT CAM, it gives me GPU overheating warning (81'C) -> game crashes (noticed couple of times but cant tie them together somewhat). Had enough.. I built a new airflow for GPU, so it cools better now.

With or without prime suspect, the game seem to have a bug (with stability) I had a lot more issues with my last Mk1 build(low fps+unstable+Single Mem Channel bottle) and Mk2 build(stuttering, unstable, still no crashes + i5-6600 wasnt still enough so I went for vacation)
*Mk X build runs it FLUENT, now the game just stucks and crashes when it wants.

... than 50-60 fps on a screen that has 50 Hz vertical refresh rate. Only setting that is not maxed out is particles (i've set them on high). even gtx750ti palit storm oc works great on that old i7 870 with this game after tweaking graphics

This game is actually really well optimized. I've maxed out the settings on my older i7 870 / 8GB / GTX960 pc at 1080p playing on my old sony bravia tv (that's why i disabled vsync and use FPS limiter - there is no point of having more...

No. The cpu and gpu are far too weak. 840M is somwhere in the vicinity of desktop gt740 maybe even gt730. and all undervolted cpus are terrible for gaming!

I run it on old i7 870 / 8GB / gtx960 @ 1080p on almost all settings maxed out. It even works on high on that same pc using gtx750ti 2GB version. You can always disable vsync and use fps limiter to the desired framerate instead.

I'm not sure. GPU is the obvious bottleneck. But for me it works like a charm on i7 870 / 8GB / gtx750ti on high settings @ 1080p. The game is actually decently optimized so you could try and disable vsync and use fps limiter instead.
