Citadels requires at least a Radeon HD 7750 1GB GDDR5 or GeForce GTX 650 1GB to meet recommended requirements running on high graphics setting, with 1080p resolution. This hardware should achieve 60FPS. 4 GB will also be needed to achieve the Citadels rec specs and get 60FPS. We suggest a 9 year old PC to play smoothly.

The video posted by InsomniaMcgee pretty much sums up this game. It's complicated, with NO explanation on how to do anything - no tooltips, controls or anything else useful. The ONLY chance you have of playing this with any success is if you played every medieval RTS in history. When you manage to figure something out, I don't think it's too bad a game. They just made it very badly. It's a lot like AoE II, and the graphics are basically AoE III. As such I can play on max settings with a nice smooth FPS, around 40 - 50. Okay game, badly made.

I am happy someone who has played the game backs the video up, I passed on this game after watching the video and your post has pushed me further away from the game. Thanks for replying and verifying my suspicions.

I'm glad I could help :) IF it ever gets on a Steam sale for less than £5, it wouldn't be the worst buy ever. But I certainly wouldn't recommend buying it otherwise.

They're far too high. It says I'll have trouble running it on high, but I can max it out with around 40 - 50 FPS.
