To run Metro 2033 on high graphics settings your PC will require at least a GeForce GTX 260 / Radeon HD 6770 with a Core 2 Duo E8400 3.0GHz or Phenom II X2 511 CPU. To be able to run at all you will need at least 1 GB system memory. Your GPU is expected to be able to deliver DirectX 10.00. To summarise, Metro 2033 needs around a 14 year old PC to play at recommended settings.

No sorry... For high in this crazy demanding game, you need a GPU at least 50% stronger than yours - and that too for 1280x720... Medium at 1280x768 should be no problem though...

with that RAM cpu and gpu you might get Lucky with low settings but dont trust my word i can pretty much ultra it with a stable 25-35 fps but your RAM is lacking and so is the rest of your rig so id say stick to low settings at that res mabye lower

That's mainly due to you Gpu. It still looks really good, but a lot of people can max it at this point and get fine framerates. Just my experience though.

Hey guys, there is a problem with this game I believe. Even if I manage to get good FPS, there is a micro lag. Sometimes every 5-10 seconds the game jolts. Tried looking for a fix. Any ideas? Thanks!

Your rig is perfect, try updating drivers and lowering the settings to one level lower. If it don't helps, I'm not sure.. do you have pirated game or you bought it? Because that might be the problem.

I'm pretty sure the GTX 680 drivers are up to date and no I brought it off Steam. It's really weird, even on low settings it will drop to almost 0 frames for a second then jump to whatever it was before.

It uses Vertical FoV, so if you want 90 Horizontal FoV, go into the Configs and set it to 73. Is that clear enough? :)

You can run it about medium tweaked. Luckly you have a small res. About....... 40-60 fps going outside lol 20-30fps. Just to let you know this game was created with nvidia not AMD so your card has to work harder

Nope, I can max it really easily, with only some occasional drops, but that can just be due tonsenppr optimization. Other than that everything as high as it can go with PhysX and I'm having a wonderful time with one of my favorite games! :)

Ummmm yes he can. You just havent noticed your ram. You need more ram at least 8 gbs or HIGHER. Check the steam recommended setting too. And an intel core i7 processor too.
