I just noticed you have it placed 7th ;D I really love this game too and started playing for the 2nd time (via Steam)...I just entered it in my 'top 10 games'-list. I love a challenge :)

I can imagine ;D First time I played (back in 2010) I finished everything, except for some warp zones and 'BSOD'-levels/glitch levels because I didn't acces them at all....also have to mention that I didn't get everything A+ thus not being able to enter all the dark world levels ;) Now I'm even more motivated because of all those Steam achievements and want to complete everything, including the warp zones and glitch levels; doing well so far ^^

What's your Steam name? Steam friends with SMB are in the rank list so I'll eventually be able to see where you are in the list(s) :D Maybe we could battle... :) As said: I love a challenge ;P

Can I run this correctly, I know I exceed the Requirements but I have a problem with the meat boy in basement collection, when the screen is moving it lags (still playable but annoying) . Will this be the same or was that just a glitch or intended?

You should be able to run it, but it is hard to tell whether it will run at 30 fps. On my laptop that I use I can get 30 fps most of the time but i have to turn my resolution down 640x480 in order for it to be playable. You can turn the resolution down even more than that but it will make everything look ugly and you WONT see any writing what so ever. So the answer is yes, you can run it, but its not going to be a very good experience. Sorry.

AdamMorgan: yeah, it's one of the most challenging games I've ever played and still play, I love it :D The weirdest thing is, that I couldn't really get that frustrated yet, even when there were levels I needed to start over a 20 - 30 times :) I think it's because you will 'earn a reel good feeling' when you finished a very difficult/extreme level and because you don't give up, you will get a bit further everytime and discover things you should have done different before......

I also love the replay, especially when you see 20 - 30 super meat boys through a level :D

I thought Chapter 6: The End was the last world, but I'm now at Chapter 7: Cotton Alley.....Super Meat Boy is captured now and Bandage Girl (his girlfriend) needs to rescue him :P These levels really are extreme..... The game is full of surprises! :D

Could be a good one for the laptop, this. Has anyone else played the original flash version? Man that game was hard. It got a little repetitive too, so it'll be interesting to see how they jazz it up for the commercial release.

Yes, I bought The Basement Collection and played the original Meat Boy on that. It was a great game but it lagged way to much for some reason. But this runs at 30 fps most of the time at the resolution of 640x480, which is the absolute minimum before you cant see anything clear enough. I loved the original and I love this one even more.
