My guess is they'll see how Episode One does, and decide whether to bother releasing any more. Let's just hope they slap a decent budget price on it.

Episodic? Isn't that stretching it a bit. It's Alien Breed for God's sake! Not some grand, story-driven game. Jesus wept!

If they get that cold "WELCOME TO INTEX SYSTEMS" voice correct, then I guess that will be enough to get me interested. It's up there with "NODE ACTIVATED" from the Chaos Engine.

The recent rejigged version of Bionic Commando was great fun, so hoping this turns out to be another succesful update of an old classic (and nothing like the turd-in-a-box that was the new Gauntlet game).

While co-op is definitely the best option, I think this could be terrifying if played alone in the dark - those creepy aliens popping out of the floor and the walls *shivers*

Yup, I'm with Feix on this one. Any modern updates will be welcome on this. Alien Breed with internet coop is a fine proposition.

Besides, haven't they already cashed in and ruined the hallowed name with the countless cack sequels on the Amiga.

Really? I disagree. The original was fun and simple. I would pay the suggested 8-10 bucks to play some nostalgic, reskinned coop of Alien Breed with my mates. And as well as a lick of graphical paint, this time around we wont be pleading with the network wires to link our two Amigas, hey Squee?

Bring on the Aliens I say!

I've got to agree with Chopa. It looks like a cash-in on a hallowed name.
