You need a Core i5-750 2.66GHz or Phenom II X4 955 processor coupled with a GeForce GTX 570 to run Hearts of Iron IV system requirements at recommended. You can expect to get around 60FPS at 1080p screen res on high graphics settings with this hardware. You should also have 4 GB system memory. System memory for min is 4 GB. Make sure your GPU can run DirectX 9.00 or Hearts of Iron IV won’t run. This means you will require a 12 year old PC to play smoothly.

Division and Exp. Forces Limiter (Experimental)
The main issue with the game is some nations making 700-900 divisions which clog the game, and this mod helps a lot :)

I have but when i'm in x5 speed it's still around 15-20 fps

It's the cpu thats taking a beating when you play hoi4. At 5x speed, most systems get around 20fps simply because the game has to calculate so many numbers at once.

40+ fps I would say but you might struggle a bit late game. But overall you should be able to run this pretty easily :)

lategame is hard on the game' performance because of the USA making divisions like an idiot... Install a mod called "Division and Exp. Forces Limiter (Experimental)" and the game will run smooth as hell ;)
