Mini ReviewGeForce GTX 460 PNY 1GB OC Edition is a special edition of the high-end GeForce GTX 460.
The biggest features are increases in the core-clock that went from 675MHz to 765MHz and from 900MHz to 925MHz, respectively.
According to most benchmarks, the performance boost is around 8% when compared to the standard GeForce GTX 460.
FirePro W7000 is a server GPU based on the 28nm GCN architecture.
It's based on the Pitcairn XT Core (same used on 7870) and therefore offers 1280 Shader Processing Units, 80 TMUs and 32 ROPs on a 256-bit interface of fast GDDR5. The central unit is clocked 950MHz while the memory clock operates at 1200MHZ.
Compared to Radeon HD 7870, its central unit is slightly lower clocked and its gaming performance is even lower, as Radeon HD 7870 benefits from certified gaming drivers which unlock the GCN's architecture potential while FirePro W7000 is made for professional applications. Therefore, expect its performance to be between 10% and 15% worse than Radeon HD 7870.
