In terms of overall gaming performance, the graphical capabilities of the AMD Radeon X1300 PRO are massively better than the Nvidia GeForce 7050.
The GeForce 7050 was released less than a year after the Radeon X1300 PRO, and so they are likely to have similar driver support for optimizing performance when running the latest games.
Both GPUs exhibit very poor performance, so rather than upgrading from one to the other you should consider looking at more powerful GPUs. Neither of these will be able to run the latest games in any playable way.
The Radeon X1300 PRO has 128 MB more video memory than the GeForce 7050, so is likely to be slightly better at displaying game textures at higher resolutions. This is supported by the fact that the Radeon X1300 PRO also has superior memory performance overall.
The Radeon X1300 PRO has 1.1 GB/sec greater memory bandwidth than the GeForce 7050, which means that the memory performance of the Radeon X1300 PRO is marginally better than the GeForce 7050.
The Radeon X1300 PRO has 4 Shader Processing Units and the GeForce 7050 has 2. However, the actual shader performance of the Radeon X1300 PRO is 2 and the actual shader performance of the GeForce 7050 is 1. The Radeon X1300 PRO having 1 better shader performance and an altogether better performance when taking into account other relevant data means that the Radeon X1300 PRO delivers a marginally smoother and more efficient experience when processing graphical data than the GeForce 7050.
The Radeon X1300 PRO requires 31 Watts to run but there is no entry for the GeForce 7050.

Mini Review | Radeon X1300 PRO is an entry-level GPU based on the 80nm variant of the R500 architecture. It's based on the RV516 Core and offers 4 Pixel Shaders, 4 TMUs and 4 ROPs, on a 128-bit of standard DDR. The central unit runs at 600MHz and the memory clock operates at up to 400MHz. Radeon X1300 PRO offers higher clock frequencies than Radeon X1300 but it also consumes relatively more power. Its performance is relatively better than X1300 but today's modern games are still only playable at the lowest settings or unplayable at all. As it's not based on a Shader-Unified architecture, both DirectX 10 & 11 games aren't supported. | The GeForce experience is more affordable than ever with NVIDIA GeForce 7 Series motherboard GPUs, now for Intel-based PCs. *Immersive experiences on the latest applications and games. *Enjoy Windows Aero features such as Flip 3D, taskbar preview and translucent windows for a more productive computing experience. *Support for a full range of Intel CPUs (including Core™ 2, Pentium™ and Celeron™ CPU families), DDR2-800 memory and integrated HDMI or DVI display output. |
