In terms of overall gaming performance, the graphical capabilities of the Nvidia GeForce GTX 650 Ti Gainward 1GB Edition are significantly better than the AMD Radeon HD 7750 Sapphire Ultimate.

The GTX 650 Ti has a 128 MHz higher core clock speed and 32 more Texture Mapping Units than the HD 7750. This results in the GTX 650 Ti providing 33.8 GTexel/s better texturing performance. This still holds weight but shader performance is generally more relevant, particularly since both of these GPUs support at least DirectX 10.

The GTX 650 Ti has a 128 MHz higher core clock speed than the HD 7750 and the same number of Render Output Units. This results in the GTX 650 Ti providing 2 GPixel/s better pixeling performance. However, both GPUs support DirectX 9 or above, and pixeling performance is only really relevant when comparing older cards.

The HD 7750 was released less than a year after the GTX 650 Ti, and so they are likely to have similar driver support for optimizing performance when running the latest games.

The GeForce GTX 650 Ti Gainward 1GB Edition and the Radeon HD 7750 Sapphire Ultimate have the same amount of video memory, but are likely to provide slightly different experiences when displaying game textures at high resolutions.

The GTX 650 Ti has 14.4 GB/sec greater memory bandwidth than the HD 7750, which means that the memory performance of the GTX 650 Ti is slightly better than the HD 7750.

The GeForce GTX 650 Ti Gainward 1GB Edition has 768 Shader Processing Units and the Radeon HD 7750 Sapphire Ultimate has 512. However, the actual shader performance of the GTX 650 Ti is 713 and the actual shader performance of the HD 7750 is 348. The GTX 650 Ti having 365 better shader performance and an altogether better performance when taking into account other relevant data means that the GTX 650 Ti delivers a noticeably smoother and more efficient experience when processing graphical data than the HD 7750.

The Radeon HD 7750 Sapphire Ultimate requires 55 Watts to run but there is no entry for the GTX 650 Ti. We would recommend a PSU with at least 400 Watts for the HD 7750, but we do not have a recommended PSU wattage for the GTX 650 Ti.

GPU Mini Review

Mini ReviewGeForce GTX 650 Ti Gainward 1GB Edition is a special edition of the fast-middle-class.
This edition has no new features and so it performs exactly like the reference GeForce GTX 650 Ti.
Radeon HD 7750 Sapphire Ultimate is a special edition of Radeon HD 7750.
The only new feature is a more effective and silent cooler which will keep the noise level down and keep Radeon HD 7750 Sapphire Ultimate cooler.
These changes don't affect the performance directly and so its performance is on level with the standard version.
