In terms of overall gaming performance, the graphical capabilities of the Nvidia GeForce GTX 560 Ti SLI are marginally better than the Nvidia GeForce GTX 660 Ti.

The GTX 660 Ti was released over a year more recently than the GTX 560 Ti, and so the GTX 660 Ti is likely to have better driver support, meaning it will be more optimized for running the latest games when compared to the GTX 560 Ti.

Both GPUs exhibit very powerful performance, so it probably isn't worth upgrading from one to the other, as both are capable of running even the most demanding games at the highest settings.

The GeForce GTX 560 Ti SLI and the GeForce GTX 660 Ti have the same amount of video memory, but are likely to provide slightly different experiences when displaying game textures at high resolutions.

Mini ReviewGeForce GTX 560 Ti SLI is a solution of two GeForce GTX 560 Ti put together using NVIDIA'S SLI technology.
SLI relies a lot on proper driver support and may cause micro stuttering in FPS below 30. This means this combination might even perform worse than a single GTX 560 Ti.
The optimal performance it delivers is better than single GeForce GTX 580 but relatively far from GeForce GTX 590.
Therefore, this combination is sufficient for gaming at 1080p and most demanding games can be played at the highest settings.
Overview
GeForce GTX 660 Ti is a Performance Graphics Card based on the Kepler Architecture.

Architecture
The Kepler Architecture was NVIDIA's big step to power efficiency. Each Stream Multiprocessor (SMX) now hosts 192 Shader Processing Units - against the 48 of older Fermi Architecture, and has been redesigned being now clocked at the same speed of the Central Unit. This means they are more energy efficient and will consequently lead to cooler operating temperatures. However, it also means they are weaker. It can be said that one Fermi SMX is as fast as 2 Kepler SMXs.
Additionally, and not available in all GPUs, Kepler also introduced the Boost Clock Feature. The Boost Clock is an even higher Clock Speed activated when in gaming mode and becomes the effective speed of the GPU. GPU
It equips a GPU GK104-300-KD-A2 which has 7 Stream Multiprocessors activated and thus offers 1344 Shader Processing Units, 112 TMUs and 24 ROPs. The Central Unit is initially clocked at 915MHz and goes up to 980MHz, in Turbo Mode.

Memory
The GPU accesses a 2GB frame buffer of fast GDDR5, through a 192-bit memory interface. The size of the frame buffer is adequate. The Memory Clock Operates at 1502MHz.

Power Consumption
With a rated board TDP of 150W, it requires at least a 450W PSU with two available 6-pin connectors.

Performance
At 1920x1080, the best suited resolution for GeForce GTX 660 Ti, benchmarks indicate its performance is a little over the older GeForce GTX 580.
