In terms of overall gaming performance, the graphical capabilities of the Nvidia GeForce GTX 770 Palit JetStream 2GB Edition are significantly better than the Nvidia GeForce GTX 560 Ti DirectCUII 1GB.
The GTX 770 has a 320 MHz higher core clock speed and 64 more Texture Mapping Units than the GTX 560 Ti. This results in the GTX 770 providing 94.1 GTexel/s better texturing performance. This still holds weight but shader performance is generally more relevant, particularly since both of these GPUs support at least DirectX 10.
The GTX 770 has a 320 MHz higher core clock speed than the GTX 560 Ti and the same number of Render Output Units. This results in the GTX 770 providing 10.2 GPixel/s better pixeling performance. However, both GPUs support DirectX 9 or above, and pixeling performance is only really relevant when comparing older cards.
The GTX 770 was released over a year more recently than the GTX 560 Ti, and so the GTX 770 is likely to have better driver support, meaning it will be more optimized for running the latest games when compared to the GTX 560 Ti.
The GTX 770 has 1024 MB more video memory than the GTX 560 Ti, so is likely to be much better at displaying game textures at higher resolutions. This is supported by the fact that the GTX 770 also has superior memory performance overall.
The GTX 770 has 96.3 GB/sec greater memory bandwidth than the GTX 560 Ti, which means that the memory performance of the GTX 770 is massively better than the GTX 560 Ti.
The GeForce GTX 770 Palit JetStream 2GB Edition has 1536 Shader Processing Units and the GeForce GTX 560 Ti DirectCUII 1GB has 384. However, the actual shader performance of the GTX 770 is 1846 and the actual shader performance of the GTX 560 Ti is 637. The GTX 770 having 1209 better shader performance and an altogether better performance when taking into account other relevant data means that the GTX 770 delivers a massively smoother and more efficient experience when processing graphical data than the GTX 560 Ti.
The GTX 770 transistor size technology is 12 nm (nanometers) smaller than the GTX 560 Ti. This means that the GTX 770 is expected to run slightly cooler and achieve higher clock frequencies than the GTX 560 Ti.
We would recommend a PSU with at least 550 Watts for the GTX 770.

Mini Review | GeForce GTX 770 Palit JetStream 2GB Edition is a special edition of the high-end GeForce GTX 770. This edition comes with a custom triple fan cooling solution which by itself should allow a slight performance boost, as GeForce GTX 770 benefits from the GPU Boost 2.0 technology. Also, it has been overclocked out of the box from 1046MHz to 1150MHz while its boost clock is now of 1202MHz. The memory clock was left untouched. Benchmarks indicate a 6% performance boost when compared to the reference card and so this edition performs very slightly better than GeForce GTX 590. | GeForce GTX 560 Ti DirectCUII 1GB is a special edition of the powerful GeForce GTX 560 Ti. See the standard version for more information about it. The new features include the new Cooper technology and the core-clock was increased to 830MHz. For superior performance, gamers will want to pick up the TOP version (over-clocked). A new cooling system is also available. Benchmarks indicate a 1.5% performance gain when compared to the standard GeForce GTX 560 Ti. All games, including demanding one's, will run at the highest settings. |
