In terms of overall gaming performance, the graphical capabilities of the Nvidia GeForce GTX 470 Golden Sample Edition are massively better than the AMD Radeon HD 7660D + 6670 Dual.

The HD 7660D has no core clock speed set, so any comparison between Texture and Pixel Fill Rates is not currently possible.

The HD 7660D was released over a year more recently than the GTX 470, and so the HD 7660D is likely to have better driver support, meaning it will be more optimized for running the latest games when compared to the GTX 470.

The GTX 470 has 1280 MB video memory, but the HD 7660D does not have an entry, so the two GPUs cannot be reliably compared in this area.

The GeForce GTX 470 Golden Sample Edition has 448 Shader Processing Units and the Radeon HD 7660D + 6670 Dual has 760. However, the actual shader performance of the GTX 470 is 582 and the actual shader performance of the HD 7660D is 0. The GTX 470 having 582 better shader performance and an altogether better performance when taking into account other relevant data means that the GTX 470 delivers a massively smoother and more efficient experience when processing graphical data than the HD 7660D.

The GeForce GTX 470 Golden Sample Edition requires 215 Watts to run but there is no entry for the Radeon HD 7660D + 6670 Dual. We would recommend a PSU with at least 550 Watts for the GTX 470.

GPU Mini Review

Mini ReviewGeForce GTX 470 Golden Sample Edition is a special edition of the high-end GeForce GTX 470.
This edition comes with a dual-fan custom solution and overclocked out of the box in the central unit which was increased from 607MHz to 650MHz, while the operating memory clock is now of 850MHz, instead of 837MHz.
Benchmarks indicate a 7% performance boost when compared to the reference card.
Radeon HD 7660D + 6670 Dual is a combination of a Radeon 7660D (integrated graphics) with a Radeon HD 6670 (dedicated).
This combination is called Asymmetric CrossFire and can also lead to Micro Stuttering.
We do not know much about this GPU at the moment but it appears to be 4% worse than a single Radeon HD 6670 performing by itself but in some cases it might be worse or better.
