In terms of overall gaming performance, the graphical capabilities of the Nvidia GeForce GTX 570 EVGA SC Edition are significantly better than the Nvidia GeForce GTX 750 EVGA Superclocked 1GB Edition.
The GTX 750 has a 418 MHz higher core clock speed than the GTX 570, but the GTX 570 has 28 more Texture Mapping Units than the GTX 750. As a result, the GTX 570 exhibits a 8.9 GTexel/s better Texture Fill Rate than the GTX 750. This still holds weight but shader performance is generally more relevant, particularly since both of these GPUs support at least DirectX 10.
The GTX 750 has a 418 MHz higher core clock speed than the GTX 570, but the GTX 570 has 24 more Render Output Units than the GTX 750. As a result, the GTX 570 exhibits a 12.5 GPixel/s better Pixel Fill Rate than the GTX 750. However, both GPUs support DirectX 9 or above, and pixeling performance is only really relevant when comparing older cards.
The GTX 750 was released over three years more recently than the GTX 570, and so the GTX 750 is likely to have far better driver support, meaning it will be much more optimized and ultimately superior to the GTX 570 when running the latest games.
The GTX 570 has 256 MB more video memory than the GTX 750, so is likely to be slightly better at displaying game textures at higher resolutions. This is supported by the fact that the GTX 570 also has superior memory performance overall.
The GTX 570 has 75.8 GB/sec greater memory bandwidth than the GTX 750, which means that the memory performance of the GTX 570 is much better than the GTX 750.
The GeForce GTX 750 EVGA Superclocked 1GB Edition has 512 Shader Processing Units and the GeForce GTX 570 EVGA SC Edition has 480. However, the actual shader performance of the GTX 750 is 894 and the actual shader performance of the GTX 570 is 765. The GTX 750 having 129 better shader performance is not particularly notable, as altogether the GTX 570 performs better when taking into account other relevant data.
The GTX 750 transistor size technology is 12 nm (nanometers) smaller than the GTX 570. This means that the GTX 750 is expected to run slightly cooler and achieve higher clock frequencies than the GTX 570.
The GeForce GTX 750 EVGA Superclocked 1GB Edition requires 55 Watts to run and the GeForce GTX 570 EVGA SC Edition requires 219 Watts. We would recommend a PSU with at least 300 Watts for the GTX 750 and a PSU with at least 550 Watts for the GTX 570. The GTX 570 requires 164 Watts more than the GTX 750 to run. The difference is significant enough that the GTX 570 may have an adverse affect on your yearly electricity bills in comparison to the GTX 750.

Mini Review | GeForce GTX 750 EVGA Superclocked 1GB Edition is a special edition of the fast-middle-class GeForce GTX 750. This edition comes with a custom cooling cooling solution which by itself will allow a slight performance boost, as GeForce GTX 750 benefits from the GPU Boost 2.0 technology. Furthermore, it comes overclocked out of the box in the central unit that was raised from 1020MHz to 1215MHz, while the Turbo Boost is now of 1294MHz, instead of 1085MHz. The operating memory clock was left untouched. Further overclocking can be achieved easily, as the GPU has great OC potential. Benchmarks indicate its performance is around 6% better than the reference card. | GeForce GTX 570 EVGA SC Edition is a special edition of the powerful GeForce GTX 570. See the standard version for more information about it. The differences include increased memory and core clocks, from 3800MHz to 3900MHz and from 732MHz to 797MHz, respectively. Compared to the standard version, the performance boost is significant and in about 4.5% according to most benchmarks. All games, including demanding one's, will run on the highest settings. |
