In terms of overall gaming performance, the graphical capabilities of the Nvidia GeForce GTX 570 MSI OC Power Edition are significantly better than the Nvidia GeForce GTX 750 Zotac 1GB Edition.

The GTX 750 has a 263 MHz higher core clock speed than the GTX 570, but the GTX 570 has 28 more Texture Mapping Units than the GTX 750. As a result, the GTX 570 exhibits a 13.1 GTexel/s better Texture Fill Rate than the GTX 750. This still holds weight but shader performance is generally more relevant, particularly since both of these GPUs support at least DirectX 10.

The GTX 750 has a 263 MHz higher core clock speed than the GTX 570, but the GTX 570 has 24 more Render Output Units than the GTX 750. As a result, the GTX 570 exhibits a 14.3 GPixel/s better Pixel Fill Rate than the GTX 750. However, both GPUs support DirectX 9 or above, and pixeling performance is only really relevant when comparing older cards.

The GTX 750 was released over a year more recently than the GTX 570, and so the GTX 750 is likely to have better driver support, meaning it will be more optimized for running the latest games when compared to the GTX 570.

The GTX 570 has 256 MB more video memory than the GTX 750, so is likely to be slightly better at displaying game textures at higher resolutions. This is supported by the fact that the GTX 570 also has superior memory performance overall.

The GTX 570 has 80 GB/sec greater memory bandwidth than the GTX 750, which means that the memory performance of the GTX 570 is much better than the GTX 750.

The GeForce GTX 750 Zotac 1GB Edition has 512 Shader Processing Units and the GeForce GTX 570 MSI OC Power Edition has 480. However, the actual shader performance of the GTX 750 is 768 and the actual shader performance of the GTX 570 is 739. The GTX 750 having 29 better shader performance is not particularly notable, as altogether the GTX 570 performs better when taking into account other relevant data.

The GTX 750 transistor size technology is 12 nm (nanometers) smaller than the GTX 570. This means that the GTX 750 is expected to run slightly cooler and achieve higher clock frequencies than the GTX 570.

The GeForce GTX 750 Zotac 1GB Edition requires 55 Watts to run but there is no entry for the GeForce GTX 570 MSI OC Power Edition. We would recommend a PSU with at least 300 Watts for the GTX 750.

GPU Mini Review

Mini ReviewGeForce GTX 750 Zotac 1GB Edition is a special edition of the fast-middle-class GeForce GTX 750.
This edition comes with a custom cooling cooling solution which by itself will allow a slight performance boost, as GeForce GTX 750 benefits from the GPU Boost 2.0 technology.
Furthermore, it comes overclocked out of the box in the central unit that was raised from 1020MHz to 1033MHz, while the Turbo Boost is now of 1111MHz, instead of 1085MHz. The operating memory clock was left untouched.
Further overclocking can be achieved easily, as the GPU has great OC potential.
Benchmarks indicate its performance is around 1% better than the reference NVIDIA GeForce GTX 750 and thus Radeon R7 260X is still faster.
GeForce GTX 570 MSI OC Power Edition is a special edition of the high-end GeForce GTX 570.
The new features include the Twin Frozr III Thermal Design which is 18C cooler & 7.7 dB quieter and the Propeller Blade technology which generates 20% more airflow, according to MSI and overclocking out of the box in both central unit and memory clock to 770MHz and 1000MHz, respectively.
Benchmarks indicate a 4% performance boost when compared to the reference card.
