In terms of overall gaming performance, the graphical capabilities of the Intel HD Graphics 4600 Desktop are significantly better than the AMD Radeon R3 6210.

The Radeon R3 6210 has a 200 MHz higher core clock speed and 4 more Texture Mapping Units than the Graphics 4600. This results in the Radeon R3 6210 providing 3.2 GTexel/s better texturing performance. This still holds weight but shader performance is generally more relevant, particularly since both of these GPUs support at least DirectX 10.

The Radeon R3 6210 has a 200 MHz higher core clock speed and 2 more Render Output Units than the Graphics 4600. This results in the Radeon R3 6210 providing 1.6 GPixel/s better pixeling performance. However, both GPUs support DirectX 9 or above, and pixeling performance is only really relevant when comparing older cards.

The Radeon R3 6210 was released less than a year after the Graphics 4600, and so they are likely to have similar driver support for optimizing performance when running the latest games.

The Radeon R3 6210 and the HD Graphics 4600 Desktop have the same amount of video memory, but are likely to provide slightly different experiences when displaying game textures at high resolutions.

The Graphics 4600 has 12.8 GB/sec greater memory bandwidth than the Radeon R3 6210, which means that the memory performance of the Graphics 4600 is slightly better than the Radeon R3 6210.

The Radeon R3 6210 has 128 Shader Processing Units and the HD Graphics 4600 Desktop has 20. However, the actual shader performance of the Radeon R3 6210 is 50 and the actual shader performance of the Graphics 4600 is 100. The Graphics 4600 having 50 better shader performance and an altogether better performance when taking into account other relevant data means that the Graphics 4600 delivers a marginally smoother and more efficient experience when processing graphical data than the Radeon R3 6210.

The Graphics 4600 transistor size technology is 6 nm (nanometers) smaller than the Radeon R3 6210. This means that the Graphics 4600 is expected to run very slightly cooler and achieve higher clock frequencies than the Radeon R3 6210.

The Radeon R3 6210 requires 15 Watts to run and the HD Graphics 4600 Desktop requires 88 Watts. We would recommend a PSU with at least 300 Watts for the Graphics 4600, but we do not have a recommended PSU wattage for the Radeon R3 6210. The Graphics 4600 requires 73 Watts more than the Radeon R3 6210 to run. The difference is significant enough that the Graphics 4600 may have an adverse affect on your yearly electricity bills in comparison to the Radeon R3 6210.

GPU Mini Review

Mini ReviewRadeon R3 6210 is an integrated Graphics Card in the APU A4-6210.

It is based on the Graphics Core Next Architecture and offers 128 Shader Processing Units, 8 TMUs and 4 ROPs. While the central unit is set at 600MHz, the memory bus-width will be of 64-bit, as the processor only support single channeled RAM. The memory clock runs at up to 800MHz.
The Graphics Card also shares the processor's L2 Cache of 2MB. Therefore, it reduces the need to resort to its memory bandwidth.

Overall, the Graphics Card's performance depends a lot on the system configuration. Best case scenario, expect performance around 10% lower than an integrated Intel HD 4000.
The card is only suited for gaming below 720p and all modern demanding games can be played at least on low settings.
Overview
Intel HD Graphics 4600 Desktop are Integrated Graphics in some of Intel's Desktop Haswell Processors.

Architecture
The Haswell GT2 Core includes support for DirectX 11.1, OpenCL 1.2 and OpenGL 4.0. Additionally, it also offers better Decoding Performance, when compared to its Predecessors.

GPU
It equips a GPU Codenamed GT2 which offers 20 Shader Processing Units, 4 TMUs and 2 ROPs. The Central Unit Initially Runs at 200MHz and goes up to 1250MHz, in Turbo Mode.

Memory
The GPU Shares the System's RAM which varies from System to System. Typically, the GPU reserves 1.7GB. Depending on whether or not the system's RAM is Dual-Channeled, it can access either a 64-bit or 128-bit memory interface. The operating memory clock also depends on which speed the System's RAM is running and is limited by the highest operating speed that the Processor supports. In this case, it is 800MHz.
It is then obvious the Memory Bandwidth depends on a lot of factors and thus this Graphics Card performance may vary heavily from system to system.

Performance
The Most Powerful Variant Offers Performance similar to a dedicated GeForce GT 220.
