The GeForce GTX 750 has a 197 MHz higher core clock speed than the GTX 760, but the GTX 760 has 64 more Texture Mapping Units than the GeForce GTX 750. As a result, the GTX 760 exhibits a 46.4 GTexel/s better Texture Fill Rate than the GeForce GTX 750. This still holds weight but shader performance is generally more relevant, particularly since both of these GPUs support at least DirectX 10.

The GeForce GTX 750 has a 197 MHz higher core clock speed than the GTX 760, but the GTX 760 has 8 more Render Output Units than the GeForce GTX 750. As a result, the GTX 760 exhibits a 3.5 GPixel/s better Pixel Fill Rate than the GeForce GTX 750. However, both GPUs support DirectX 9 or above, and pixeling performance is only really relevant when comparing older cards.

Mini ReviewGeForce GTX 760 3GB (OEM) is a high-end Graphics Card based on the 28nm, Kepler architecture.

It offers the GK104-200-KD-A2 GPU which features 1152 Shader Processing Units, 96 TMUs and 24 ROPs, on a 192-bit memory interface of fast GDDR5.
While the central unit runs at 823MHz and goes up to 888MHz, in turbo mode, the memory clock operates at 1400MHz.
When compared to the 1.5GB version, the frame buffer was doubled to 3GB though this will not boost its performance and can be addressed as a gimmick - marketing to lure consumers into paying more for the same product.

It is therefore a renamed GeForce GTX 660 3GB (OEM) and offers exactly the same performance.
Overview
GeForce GTX 750 is a performance Graphics Card based on the first variant of the Maxwell architecture.

Architecture
The first variant of the Maxwell Architecture succeeds the Kepler Architecture. Despite being also manufactured with a 28nm technology, it has an extremely large L2 Cache which allows NVIDIA to produce Graphics Cards with relatively small memory data transfer rates, without causing too much impact on the overall performance. Furthermore, the Shaders have been redesigned and are both more powerful and energy efficient.

GPU
It equips a GPU codenamed GM107-300-A2 which has 4 SM activated and thus offers 512 Shader Processing Units, 32 TMUs and 16 ROPs, on a 128-bit memory interface of fast GDDR5. The central unit runs at 1020MHz and goes up to 1085MHz, in Turbo Mode, while the memory clock operates at 1250MHz.

Features
DirectX 11.2 Support (11.0 Hardware Default) and support for GameStream, G-SYNC, GPU Boost 2.0, GeForce Experience, PhysX and other technologies.

Cooling Solution
The Cooling Solution consists of a Single-Fan and is identical to the one seen on GeForce GTX 650. The Card is known to run very cool and has a maximum operating temperature of 95ºC.

Power Consumption
With a rated board TDP of 55W, it requires at least a 300W PSU and relies entirely on the PCI Slot for power.

Release Price
Pricing is identical to the one seen on its predecessors - $119.

Performance
Benchmarks indicate its performance is over 30% better than its predecessor's and surpasses largely Radeon R7 260, while factory overclocked versions will surpass the Radeon R7 260X, especially in DirectX 11 based games.

We recommend a considerably strong processor (Intel Core i3 Dual Core/AMD FX Quad Core) and 8GB of RAM for a system with GeForce GTX 750.
