In terms of overall gaming performance, the graphical capabilities of the Nvidia GeForce GTX 750 Ti EVGA 2GB Edition are very slightly better than the Nvidia GeForce GTX 750 EVGA Superclocked 1GB Edition.
The GTX 750 has a 195 MHz higher core clock speed than the GTX 750 Ti, but the GTX 750 Ti has 8 more Texture Mapping Units than the GTX 750. As a result, the GTX 750 Ti exhibits a 1.9 GTexel/s better Texture Fill Rate than the GTX 750. This still holds weight but shader performance is generally more relevant, particularly since both of these GPUs support at least DirectX 10.
The GTX 750 has a 195 MHz higher core clock speed than the GTX 750 Ti and the same number of Render Output Units. This results in the GTX 750 providing 3.1 GPixel/s better pixeling performance. However, both GPUs support DirectX 9 or above, and pixeling performance is only really relevant when comparing older cards.
The GTX 750 was released less than a year after the GTX 750 Ti, and so they are likely to have similar driver support for optimizing performance when running the latest games.
The GTX 750 Ti has 1024 MB more video memory than the GTX 750, so is likely to be much better at displaying game textures at higher resolutions. This is supported by the fact that the GTX 750 Ti also has superior memory performance overall.
The GTX 750 Ti has 6.2 GB/sec greater memory bandwidth than the GTX 750, which means that the memory performance of the GTX 750 Ti is marginally better than the GTX 750.
The GeForce GTX 750 Ti EVGA 2GB Edition has 640 Shader Processing Units and the GeForce GTX 750 EVGA Superclocked 1GB Edition has 512. However, the actual shader performance of the GTX 750 Ti is 937 and the actual shader performance of the GTX 750 is 894. The GTX 750 Ti having 43 better shader performance and an altogether better performance when taking into account other relevant data means that the GTX 750 Ti delivers a marginally smoother and more efficient experience when processing graphical data than the GTX 750.
The GeForce GTX 750 Ti EVGA 2GB Edition requires 60 Watts to run and the GeForce GTX 750 EVGA Superclocked 1GB Edition requires 55 Watts. We would recommend a PSU with at least 300 Watts for the GTX 750 Ti and a PSU with at least 300 Watts for the GTX 750. The GTX 750 Ti requires 5 Watts more than the GTX 750 to run. The difference is not significant enough for the GTX 750 Ti to have a noticeably larger impact on your yearly electricity bills than the GTX 750.

Mini Review | GeForce GTX 750 Ti EVGA 2GB Edition is a special edition of NVIDIA's high-end GeForce GeForce GTX 750 Ti created by EVGA. It doesn't have any new features. Read below to know more. Overclock Out of The Box The Clock Frequencies of both Central Unit and Operating Memory Clock Remain the Same. Cooling Solution The Cooling System remains the same. Power Consumption The Rated Board TDP remains the same: 60 Watts. A 300W PSU recommended is required. Release Price GeForce GTX 970 EVGA 4GB Edition was released for $149.99. That's the same price of the reference Graphics Card. Performance Without a New Cooling Solution or overclocking out of the box, GeForce GTX 750 Ti EVGA 2GB Edition is as fast as the reference GeForce GTX 750 Ti. | GeForce GTX 750 EVGA Superclocked 1GB Edition is a special edition of the fast-middle-class GeForce GTX 750. This edition comes with a custom cooling cooling solution which by itself will allow a slight performance boost, as GeForce GTX 750 benefits from the GPU Boost 2.0 technology. Furthermore, it comes overclocked out of the box in the central unit that was raised from 1020MHz to 1215MHz, while the Turbo Boost is now of 1294MHz, instead of 1085MHz. The operating memory clock was left untouched. Further overclocking can be achieved easily, as the GPU has great OC potential. Benchmarks indicate its performance is around 6% better than the reference card. |
