GeForce GT 445M v2 is a Fast-Middle-Class Mobile Graphics Card based on the first revision of the Fermi Architecture.

Architecture
The Fermi Architecture is manufactured with a 40nm technology and uses a technique known as Hot Clocking: The Shaders are clocked twice as fast as the Central Unit. While this leads to a reasonable performance boost, it causes enormous amounts of energy dissipation, leading, ultimately, to a significantly higher operating temperature.
Fermi is also the first GPU architecture with fully cached memory access which increases memory performance.

GPU
It equips a GPU Codenamed GF106-N11E-GE-A1 which has 3 Stream Multiprocessors activated and thus offers 144 Shader Processing Units, 24 TMUs and 16 ROPs. The Central Unit is clocked at 570MHz.

Memory
The GPU accesses a 1GB frame buffer of fast GDDR5, through a 128-bit memory interface. The size of the frame buffer is adequate. The Memory Clock Operates at 625MHz.

Power Consumption
With a rated board TDP of 35W, it is suited for 15" or larger laptops.

Performance

System Suggestions
We recommend a decent processor (Intel Core i5 Mobile) and 4GB of RAM for a system with GeForce GT 445M v2.
GeForce Go 7600 is a middle-class level GPU. It can use up to 256MB of dedicated video memory, and it's available with DDR/DDR2 or DDR3 memory types as well as either a 64 or 128 Memory Bus Width. The performance depends A LOT on the memory type + Memory Bus Width it features. Games like F.E.A.R (from 2005) might run on the highest settings (DDR3 + 128 bit bus) or might be only playable in the lowest settings (DDR + 64 bit bus).
All in all, the most powerful version is still not good enough to play any of today's current games.
