In terms of overall gaming performance, the graphical capabilities of the Nvidia GeForce GTX 470 Golden Sample Edition are massively better than the AMD Radeon HD 7670 v2.

Radeon HD 7670 v2 is a fast-middle-class Graphics Card based on the second revision of the Terascale Architecture.

Architecture
The Second variant of the Terascale 2 Architecture is still manufactured with a 40nm technology and despite allowing more Stream Cores, their design remains more or less the same compared to the first variant.

GPU
It equips a GPU codenamed Turks XT which has 8 Compute Units activated and thus offers 480 Shader Processing Units, 24 TMUs and 8 ROPs.

Memory
The GPU accesses a 1GB frame buffer of DDR3, through a 128-bit memory interface. The memory clock operates at 800MHz. The size of the frame buffer is exaggerated and in no way benefits the GPU.

Features
DirectX 11.0 Support (11.0 Hardware Default) and support for Crossfire, HD3D, Eyefinity, App Acceleration, PowerPlay and other technologies.

Cooling Solution
The Cooling Solution consists of a Single-Fan.

Power Consumption
With a rated board TDP of 66W, it requires at least a 400W PSU and it relies entirely on the PCI Slot for power, meaning no extra connectors are required.

Performance
Radeon HD 7670 v2 is a direct re-brand of Radeon HD 6670 v2.
Gaming benchmarks put its performance somewhat above GeForce GT 440, meaning GeForce GTS 450 is still much faster.

System Suggestions
We recommend a modest processor (Intel Core i3/AMD Phenom) and 4GB of RAM for a system with Radeon HD 7670 v2.
GeForce GTX 470 Golden Sample Edition is a special edition of the high-end GeForce GTX 470.
This edition comes with a dual-fan custom solution and overclocked out of the box in the central unit which was increased from 607MHz to 650MHz, while the operating memory clock is now of 850MHz, instead of 837MHz.
Benchmarks indicate a 7% performance boost when compared to the reference card.
