In terms of overall gaming performance, the graphical capabilities of the GTX 650 Ti and the GeForce GTX 465 are equal.
The GTX 650 Ti has a 321 MHz higher core clock speed and 20 more Texture Mapping Units than the GeForce GTX 465. This results in the GTX 650 Ti providing 32.7 GTexel/s better texturing performance. This still holds weight but shader performance is generally more relevant, particularly since both of these GPUs support at least DirectX 10.
The GTX 650 Ti has a 321 MHz higher core clock speed than the GeForce GTX 465, but the GeForce GTX 465 has 16 more Render Output Units than the GTX 650 Ti. As a result, the GeForce GTX 465 exhibits a 4.6 GPixel/s better Pixel Fill Rate than the GTX 650 Ti. However, both GPUs support DirectX 9 or above, and pixeling performance is only really relevant when comparing older cards.
The GTX 650 Ti was released over three years more recently than the GeForce GTX 465, and so the GTX 650 Ti is likely to have far better driver support, meaning it will be much more optimized and ultimately superior to the GeForce GTX 465 when running the latest games.
The GeForce GTX 650 Ti Asus PH 1GB Edition and the GeForce GTX 465 have the same amount of video memory, but are likely to provide slightly different experiences when displaying game textures at high resolutions.
The GeForce GTX 465 has 16.3 GB/sec greater memory bandwidth than the GTX 650 Ti, which means that the memory performance of the GeForce GTX 465 is slightly better than the GTX 650 Ti.
The GeForce GTX 650 Ti Asus PH 1GB Edition has 768 Shader Processing Units and the GeForce GTX 465 has 352. However, the actual shader performance of the GTX 650 Ti is 713 and the actual shader performance of the GeForce GTX 465 is 427. The GTX 650 Ti having 286 better shader performance and an altogether better performance when taking into account other relevant data means that the GTX 650 Ti delivers a marginally smoother and more efficient experience when processing graphical data than the GeForce GTX 465.
The GTX 650 Ti transistor size technology is 12 nm (nanometers) smaller than the GeForce GTX 465. This means that the GTX 650 Ti is expected to run slightly cooler and achieve higher clock frequencies than the GeForce GTX 465. While they exhibit similar graphical performance, the GTX 650 Ti should consume less power than the GeForce GTX 465.
The GeForce GTX 650 Ti Asus PH 1GB Edition requires 110 Watts to run and the GeForce GTX 465 requires 200 Watts. We would recommend a PSU with at least 400 Watts for the GTX 650 Ti and a PSU with at least 550 Watts for the GeForce GTX 465. The GeForce GTX 465 requires 90 Watts more than the GTX 650 Ti to run. The difference is significant enough that the GeForce GTX 465 may have an adverse affect on your yearly electricity bills in comparison to the GTX 650 Ti.

Mini Review | Overview GeForce GTX 650 Ti Asus PH 1GB Edition is a special edition of NVIDIA's Fast-Middle-Class GeForce GTX 650 Ti, created by Asus. Overclock: Central Unit The Central Unit runs at the same speed. Overclock: Memory Clock The Operating Memory Clock and the Frame Buffer remain the same. Cooling Solution The Cooling System has been replaced by Asus' Dual ball Bearing Fan lasting up to 50% longer than generics, this fan runs smoother with reduced friction, its dust-proof design improving lifespan and cooling efficiency. Performance Without Overclocking Out of The Box, GeForce GTX 650 Ti Asus PH 1GB Edition is as fast as the reference GeForce GTX 650 Ti. | GeForce GTX 465 is a high-end GPU based on the 40nm Fermi architecture. It's based on the Fermi GF100 Core (optimized GF104 Core) and offers 352 Shader Processing Units, 42 TMUs and 32 ROPs, on 256-bit memory interface of fast GDDR5. The central unit runs at 607MHz and the memory clock operates at 802MHz. Despite feature more Shader Processing Units than GeForce GTX 460, it's lower clocked. Benchmarks indicate that its performance is around 3% better than the standard version and therefore on level with GeForce GTX 460 v2. Most modern demanding games will run at the highest settings using a 1080p resolution. However, some will require reduced settings to be played optimally. |
