Mini Review | Overview GeForce GTX 960 Gigabyte WindForce 2X OC 4GB Edition is a special edition of NVIDIA's Performance GeForce GTX 960 2GB, created by Gigabyte. Overclock: Central Unit The Central Unit now runs at 1216MHz, instead of 1127MHz and goes up to 1279MHz, in Turbo Mode. Overclock: Memory Clock The Operating Memory Clock remains the same while the Frame Buffer was doubled to 4GB: a gimmick which doesn't yield any performance boost and can be considered market to lure consumers into paying more for the same product. Cooling Solution The reference NVIDIA Single-Fan Cooling System has been replaced by Gigabyte's WINDFORCE 2X With Unique Blade Fan which is Equipped with two 90mm unique blade fan and three copper heat pipes. The airflow is spilt through the triangle design at the fan edge, and is guided smoothly through the fan by special 3D stripe curve design. At the same time, it effectively enhanced the cooling capacity while reducing air turbulence.
