Overclock: Central Unit
The Central Unit is now of 990MHz, instead of 970MHz.

The Operating Memory Clock is now of 1425MHz, instead of 1375MHz.

Frame Buffer
The Frame Buffer was doubled to 4GB.
While 4GB are needed in a few Modern Games for increased texture detail, the GPU is not powerful enough to work under other circumstances in which 4GB are needed, such as gaming above 1080p and thus a larger frame buffer is mostly a gimmick.

Cooling Solution
WINDFORCE 2X Cooling System: The airflow is spilt through the triangle design at the fan edge, and is guided smoothly through the fan by special 3D stripe curve design. At the same time, it effectively enhanced the cooling capacity while reducing air turbulence.

GeForce GTX 470 Golden Sample Edition is a special edition of the high-end GeForce GTX 470.
This edition comes with a dual-fan custom solution and overclocked out of the box in the central unit which was increased from 607MHz to 650MHz, while the operating memory clock is now of 850MHz, instead of 837MHz.
Benchmarks indicate a 7% performance boost when compared to the reference card.
