In terms of overall gaming performance, the graphical capabilities of the AMD Radeon HD 8610G + HD 8670M Dual are marginally better than the AMD Radeon HD 6850M.

The Radeon HD 6850M has a 142 MHz higher core clock speed but 8 fewer Texture Mapping Units than the HD 8610G. Mini ReviewCombination of Radeon HD 8610G with Radeon HD 8670M, using AMD's Asymmetric Crossfire Technology. Radeon HD 6850M is a high-end GPU based on the 40nm Terrascale 2 architecture.
It's based on the Juniper Core (therefore related to Radeon HD 6770) and offers 800 Shader Processing Units, 40 TMUs and 16 ROPs on a 128-bit memory interface. Though fast GDDR5 is supported, the most common version features standard DDR3 but comes higher clocked. Its central clock runs at 675MHz and the memory clock operates at 800MHz.
Compared to Radeon HD 6850M, its performance is considerably slower due to being paired with standard DDR3 and the power consumption should remain similar since GDDR5 is more energy efficient.
Using a 720p resolution, most of today's games are only playable at medium settings but with very fluent frame rates (45+).
