GeForce 940MX 2GB is a Middle-Class Mobile Graphics Card based on the Maxwell Architecture.

Architecture
GeForce 940MX 2GB Features a GPU Codenamed GM108-N16S-GTR which is a First Gen Maxwell GPU and is identical to the GM108-N16S-GT-S used on GeForce 940M but with the addition of GDDR5 Support.
GM108-N16S-GTR has 3 Compute Units Unlocked and thus offers 384 Shader Processing Units, 24 TMUs and 8 ROPs.

The Central Unit is Clocked at 1122Hz and goes up to 1242MHz, in Turbo Mode.

Memory: Speed
The GPU is equipped with DDR3 and Accesses the Frame Buffer through a 64-bit Memory Interface. The Memory Clock Operates at 1001MHz.

HD i7 2760QM is a specific version of the Intel HD 3000 Graphics that comes with the CPU 'Intel Core i7-2760QM 4-Core 2.4GHz'. It uses the CPU's Level 3 Cache (up to 6 MB, in this case) + part of the RAM installed on the system up to a maximum of approximately 1.7GB for Vista/7 and 1 GB for XP. The Memory controller supports DDR3-1066, DDR3-1333 and DDR3-1600 and the Turbo Boost technology of the processor can over-clock the graphics card clock from 650MHz to 1300MHz.
