GeForce 940MX 2GB is a Middle-Class Mobile Graphics Card based on the Maxwell Architecture.

GeForce 940MX 2GB Features a GPU Codenamed GM108-N16S-GTR which is a First Gen Maxwell GPU and is identical to the GM108-N16S-GT-S used on GeForce 940M but with the addition of GDDR5 Support.
GM108-N16S-GTR has 3 Compute Units Unlocked and thus offers 384 Shader Processing Units, 24 TMUs and 8 ROPs.

The Central Unit is Clocked at 1122Hz and goes up to 1242MHz, in Turbo Mode.

The GPU is equipped with DDR3 and Accesses the Frame Buffer through a 64-bit Memory Interface. The Memory Clock Operates at 1001MHz.
