Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 Ti Gainward 4GB Performance Review

The GeForce GTX 1050 Ti Gainward 4GB is a very low performing piece of gaming hardware and can probably only run indie system requirements.

DirectX 12 gaming system requirements will be met by this gpu.

What FPS performance can the GeForce GTX 1050 Ti Gainward 4GB get on latest AAA 2022 games? In particular our game review looks at the FPS achieved running on Ultra graphics settings on the 1080p screen resolution as well as 1440p and 4K. We look at 1000 of the most demanding games available today and this GPU is better than the recommended graphics requirement of more than 231 games in the list.

First we looked at 1080p resolution for the GeForce GTX 1050 Ti Gainward 4GB performance to explore what sort of benchmarks it would achieve on the popular title Forza Horizon 5 and saw it deliver weak frames per second across the following graphics settings - Low: 1 FPS, Medium: 1 FPS, High: 1 FPS and Ultra: 1 FPS. We proceeded to look at FIFA 22 to see how that compared and saw that it returned a reasonable 57 FPS at Ultra 1080p.

Increasing resolution to 1440p is something a number of PC gamers are doing today. We tested the GeForce GTX 1050 Ti Gainward 4GB at 1440p with Forza Horizon 5, which got a weak set of FPS results. These were, Low: 1 FPS, Medium: 1 FPS, High: 1 FPS and Ultra: 0 FPS. We then checked out FIFA 22 which had a set of graphics results as followed, L: 115FPS, M: 90FPS, H: 61FPS, U: 43FPS. And another popular game was Star Citizen with predictions of L: 57FPS, M: 45FPS, H: 30FPS, U: 22FPS at 1440p. Running games at 1440p with a GeForce GTX 1050 Ti Gainward 4GB is not ideal and its more advisable to run modern games at 1080p resolution. But if you really want to play games at 1440p then you will likely have to make some graphical adjustments to improve game FPS stability.
