AMD Radeon RX 570 4GB Performance Review

This Radeon RX 570 4GB graphics card is considered budget with poor modern game performance when playing anything more demanding than indie game requirements.

DirectX 12 gaming system requirements will be met by this gpu.

We take a look at game performance achieved on this graphics card when running 2022 popular games. This short Radeon RX 570 4GB game hardware review looks at the graphics card frame rate performance on Ultra graphics settings at 1080p, 1440p and 4K screen resolutions. This card runs recommended graphics requirements of 377 games from the top 1000 most demanding games being played today.

Running at 1080p this card is predicted to get a reasonable frame rate from Star Citizen with 50 FPS on Ultra. Then we take a look at Resident Evil 8 which returns a weak 15 FPS. Another title that we looked at is the popular Forza Horizon 5 which we saw getting a playable 39 FPS.

Increasing resolution to 1440p is something a number of PC gamers are doing today. We tested the Radeon RX 570 4GB at 1440p and researched how Star Citizen might perform on it leading us to predict a playable set of FPS results. These were, Low: 101 FPS, Medium: 79 FPS, High: 53 FPS and Ultra: 38 FPS. We then checked out Resident Evil 8 which had a set of graphics results as followed, L: 30FPS, M: 24FPS, H: 16FPS, U: 11FPS. And another popular game was Forza Horizon 5 that returned L: 78FPS, M: 61FPS, H: 41FPS, U: 29FPS at 1440p. Running games at 1440p with a Radeon RX 570 4GB is a suitable graphics card for this larger screen res. In some cases we might expect some graphics option tweaks down from Ultra to High to help improve FPS stability when gaming at 1440p.
