In terms of overall gaming performance, the graphical capabilities of the AMD Mobility Radeon HD 5750 are significantly better than the Intel HD Graphics Mobile (Broadwell).
The Radeon HD has a 250 MHz higher core clock speed and 16 more Texture Mapping Units than the Graphics Mobile. This results in the Radeon HD providing 9.8 GTexel/s better texturing performance. This still holds weight but shader performance is generally more relevant, particularly since both of these GPUs support at least DirectX 10.
The Radeon HD has a 250 MHz higher core clock speed and 6 more Render Output Units than the Graphics Mobile. This results in the Radeon HD providing 3.8 GPixel/s better pixeling performance. However, both GPUs support DirectX 9 or above, and pixeling performance is only really relevant when comparing older cards.
The Graphics Mobile was released over three years more recently than the Radeon HD, and so the Graphics Mobile is likely to have far better driver support, meaning it will be much more optimized and ultimately superior to the Radeon HD when running the latest games.
The Radeon HD has 1024 MB video memory, but the Graphics Mobile does not have an entry, so the two GPUs cannot be reliably compared in this area.
The HD Graphics Mobile (Broadwell) has 12 Shader Processing Units and the Mobility Radeon HD 5750 has 400. However, the actual shader performance of the Graphics Mobile is 10 and the actual shader performance of the Radeon HD is 110. The Radeon HD having 100 better shader performance and an altogether better performance when taking into account other relevant data means that the Radeon HD delivers a noticeably smoother and more efficient experience when processing graphical data than the Graphics Mobile.
The Graphics Mobile transistor size technology is 18 nm (nanometers) smaller than the Radeon HD. This means that the Graphics Mobile is expected to run slightly cooler and achieve higher clock frequencies than the Radeon HD.
The HD Graphics Mobile (Broadwell) requires 4 Watts to run and the Mobility Radeon HD 5750 requires 25 Watts. The Radeon HD requires 21 Watts more than the Graphics Mobile to run. The difference is not significant enough for the Radeon HD to have a noticeably larger impact on your yearly electricity bills than the Graphics Mobile.

Mini Review | Intel HD Graphics Mobile (Broadwell) are integrated graphics in the budget Celeron and Pentium Broadwell Mobile processors. Their performance depends on the processor they are integrated on, as the latter defines the Base and Boost Clock, as well as on the SYSTEM RAM, which defines the operating memory clock, and whether the GPU accesses a 64-bit or 128-bit memory interface. Best case scenario, the Intel HD Graphics Mobile (Broadwell) performs on par with Intel HD 4000 Graphics and so most modern demanding games will not be playable. Less graphically intense games will be playable at lower graphics settings. | Mobility Radeon HD 5750 is a fast-middle-class GPU based on the 40nm, Terascale 2 architecture. It's based on the Madison PRO Core and offers 400 Shader Processing Units, 20 TMUs and 8 ROPs, on 128-bit memory interface of fast GDDR5. The central unit runs at 550MHz and the memory clock operates at up to 800MHz. It consumes no more than 25 Watt. Benchmarks indicate most modern demanding games of 2007-2010, such as Crysis, BF2 and Metro 2033 were playable at medium settings smoothly. Therefore, today's modern demanding games should be playable on the medium preset, using a 720p resolution, though extremely demanding modern games such as Crysis 3 might require further reduced settings. Mobility Radeon HD 5750's is therefore an underclocked Mobility Radeon HD 5750 and should perform slightly worse than it. |
