In terms of overall gaming performance, the graphical capabilities of the Intel HD i7 5700EQ are significantly better than the Intel HD Graphics Mobile (Broadwell).

The Graphics Mobile and the HD i7 5700EQ have both the same core clock speed and the same Texture Fill Rate. This still holds weight but shader performance is generally more relevant, particularly since both of these GPUs support at least DirectX 10.

The Graphics Mobile and the HD i7 5700EQ have the same core clock speed of 300 MHz, but the Graphics Mobile has 1 more Render Output Units than the HD i7 5700EQ. As a result, the Graphics Mobile exhibits a 0.3 GPixel/s better Pixel Fill Rate than the HD i7 5700EQ. However, both GPUs support DirectX 9 or above, and pixeling performance is only really relevant when comparing older cards.

The HD i7 5700EQ was released less than a year after the Graphics Mobile, and so they are likely to have similar driver support for optimizing performance when running the latest games.

The HD Graphics Mobile (Broadwell) and the HD i7 5700EQ have the same amount of video memory, but are likely to provide slightly different experiences when displaying game textures at high resolutions.

The memory bandwidth of the HD Graphics Mobile (Broadwell) and the HD i7 5700EQ are the same, which means the Graphics Mobile and the HD i7 5700EQ have equal limitations when it comes to graphical data transfer.

The HD Graphics Mobile (Broadwell) has 12 Shader Processing Units and the HD i7 5700EQ has 24. However, the actual shader performance of the Graphics Mobile is 10 and the actual shader performance of the HD i7 5700EQ is 202. The HD i7 5700EQ having 192 better shader performance and an altogether better performance when taking into account other relevant data means that the HD i7 5700EQ delivers a marginally smoother and more efficient experience when processing graphical data than the Graphics Mobile.

The HD i7 5700EQ transistor size technology is 8 nm (nanometers) smaller than the Graphics Mobile. This means that the HD i7 5700EQ is expected to run very slightly cooler and achieve higher clock frequencies than the Graphics Mobile.

The HD Graphics Mobile (Broadwell) requires 4 Watts to run and the HD i7 5700EQ requires 47 Watts. The HD i7 5700EQ requires 43 Watts more than the Graphics Mobile to run. The difference is significant enough that the HD i7 5700EQ may have a slight adverse affect on your yearly electricity bills in comparison to the Graphics Mobile.

GPU Mini Review

Mini ReviewIntel HD Graphics Mobile (Broadwell) are integrated graphics in the budget Celeron and Pentium Broadwell Mobile processors.
Their performance depends on the processor they are integrated on, as the latter defines the Base and Boost Clock, as well as on the SYSTEM RAM, which defines the operating memory clock, and whether the GPU accesses a 64-bit or 128-bit memory interface.
Best case scenario, the Intel HD Graphics Mobile (Broadwell) performs on par with Intel HD 4000 Graphics and so most modern demanding games will not be playable. Less graphically intense games will be playable at lower graphics settings.
Intel HD i7 5700EQ is the specific version of Intel HD Graphics 5600 Mobile that is integrated in the Core i7-5700EQ Processor.

The Central Unit Initially Runs at 300MHz and goes up to 1000MHz, in Turbo Mode.

The GPU Shares the System's RAM which varies from laptop to laptop. Typically, the GPU reserves 1GB. Depending on whether or not the system's RAM is Dual-Channeled, it can access either a 64-bit or 128-bit memory interface. The operating memory clock also depends on the at which speed the System's RAM is running and is limited by the highest operating speed that the Processor supports. In this case, it is 800MHz.
It is then obvious the Memory Bandwidth depends on a lot of factors and thus this Graphics Card performance may vary heavily from system to system.

Gaming benchmarks put its performance on level with a dedicated Radeon HD 7690M.
