AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT MSI 8GB Performance Review

This computer hardware provides top end graphics. The Radeon RX 5700 XT MSI 8GB will easily meet recommended system requirements of games released today. This is a strong benchmarker on modern games and can often return excellent frame rates at high and ultra 1080p. But the Radeon RX 5700 XT MSI 8GB can also run 1440p pc system requirements.

DirectX 12 gaming system requirements will be met by this gpu.

Here we take a closer look at the various performances across 1080p, 1440p and 4K screen resolutions for the Radeon RX 5700 XT MSI 8GB. In particular this is looking at the Ultra graphics settings to see what sort of FPS this graphics card can get across some of the more popular games played in 2022. We look at 1000 of the most demanding games available today and this GPU is better than the recommended graphics requirement of more than 985 games in the list.

First we looked at 1080p resolution for the Radeon RX 5700 XT MSI 8GB performance to explore what sort of benchmarks it would achieve on the popular title Far Cry 6 and saw it deliver reasonable frames per second across the following graphics settings - Low: 148 FPS, Medium: 116 FPS, High: 78 FPS and Ultra: 56 FPS. We proceeded to look at Battlefield 2042 to see how that compared and saw that it returned a reasonable 49 FPS at Ultra 1080p.

Moving screen sizes up to 1440p we ran Far Cry 6 on the Radeon RX 5700 XT MSI 8GB to see that it got a playable set of frame rates. Here are the low to ultra results at 1440p - L: 113FPS, M: 89FPS, H: 60FPS, U: 43FPS. Another popular game to test at 1440p with this card was Battlefield 2042 which seemed playable in performance netting an Ultra FPS of 37 FPS. Finally we then took a look at Dying Light 2 where its predicted Ultra 1440p Frame rates were reasonable at 47 FPS. Looking at a few of these 1440p results for the Radeon RX 5700 XT MSI 8GB we get the impression that it is capable of delivering a solid gaming experience across larger screen sized monitors. We expect to see High and Ultra graphics settings across most games at 1440p with this GPU.
