In terms of overall gaming performance, the graphical capabilities of the AMD Radeon RX 5600 XT MSI Gaming 6GB are significantly better than the AMD Radeon RX 580 4GB.

Architecture The Navi 10 XL GPU offers support for GDDR6 Memory, DirectX 12.0, Vulkan 1.0, and OpenGL 4.5. GPU This variant of the Navi 10 XL GPU features 36 Compute Units activated, offering 2304 Shader Processing Units, 144 TMUs and 64 ROPs. The GPU features a 1375 MHz base clock speed and up to 1560 MHz with boost clock, making it an estimated 20% slower than a Radeon RX 5700 8GB. This puts its predicted performance at roughly 20% faster than a GeForce GTX 1660 Ti. Memory: Speed The GPU is equipped with 6GB high-speed GDDR6 and accesses the Frame Buffer through a 192-bit memory interface, providing total memory bandwidth of 288 GB/s. Memory: Frame Buffer The GPU can fill up a Memory Pool of up to 6GB. Under most circumstances, this only proves useful in certain 3D Games whose Settings Require Large Amounts of Memory. The new AMD Radeon RX 500 series are an uprated version of the RX 400 series that they are replacing. This RX 580 4GB graphics card is one of the two more powerful models from the new AMD Radeon RX 500 Series. This RX 580 is the 4GB version and there is also the RX580 8GB version available, offering more VRAM for your gaming performance. Architecture It equips a GPU codenamed Polaris 20 XTX, which has 2304 shader processing units, 144 TMUs and 32 ROPs. GPU The RX 580 4GB central processing unit runs at 1257MHz and goes up to 1365MHz when in boost and turbo mode. Memory The GPU accesses a 4GB frame buffer of fast GDDR5, through a 256-bit memory interface, while the Memory Clock operates at 2000MHz.
