In terms of overall gaming performance, the graphical capabilities of the Intel G4 1050MHz are massively better than the Intel HD i5 M430.

The G4 1050MHz was released over three years more recently than the HD i5 M430, and so the G4 1050MHz is likely to have far better driver support, meaning it will be much more optimized and ultimately superior to the HD i5 M430 when running the latest games.

The G4 1050MHz and the HD i5 M430 have the same amount of video memory, but are likely to provide slightly different experiences when displaying game textures at high resolutions.

The HD i5 M430 has 17.1 GB/sec greater memory bandwidth than the G4 1050MHz, which means that the memory performance of the HD i5 M430 is slightly better than the G4 1050MHz.

The G4 1050MHz has 384 Shader Processing Units and the HD i5 M430 has 12. However, the actual shader performance of the G4 1050MHz is 403 and the actual shader performance of the HD i5 M430 is 15. The G4 1050MHz having 388 better shader performance and an altogether better performance when taking into account other relevant data means that the G4 1050MHz delivers a noticeably smoother and more efficient experience when processing graphical data than the HD i5 M430.

The G4 1050MHz requires 28 Watts to run and the HD i5 M430 requires 35 Watts. The HD i5 M430 requires 7 Watts more than the G4 1050MHz to run. The difference is not significant enough for the HD i5 M430 to have a noticeably larger impact on your yearly electricity bills than the G4 1050MHz.

GPU Mini Review

Mini ReviewOverview
Intel Iris Plus Graphics G4 1050MHz are integrated graphics in some of Intel's Ice Lake mobile processors. It can be found in Intel Core i5-1030G4 & Intel Core i5-1035G4

The Ice Lake architecture succeeds the Kaby lake architecture and aims for increased CPU and graphics performance.
New Features
These Gen11 graphics solutions include the new Variable Rate Shading (VRS) support. This lets shading time for object shading in game to be allocated more accurately by the game's developers. So for example, a graphics depicting an object that cannot easily be seen can be marked as not needing such high performance and visual accuracy and thus save processing power. GPU
The central unit initially runs at 300MHz and goes up to 1050MHz, in turbo mode.

Because Performance depends heavily on the Memory Bandwidth, it may vary from System to System.
Best case scenario, expect Intel Iris Plus Graphics G4 1050MHz performance to be similar to the AMD Radeon RX Vega 8 GPU.
HD i5 M430 is specific version of GMA5700MHD graphics that is built into the 'Intel Core i5 M430' processor. You can only play most of the latest games like Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, Batman: Arkham City, Crysis 2 on the lowest settings, but you might experience a small lag. Less demanding games will run from medium to high settings.
