AMD Radeon RX 5600M Performance Review

While some games have more powerful requirements than this GPU, the Radeon RX 5600M is only really challenged by the most demanding games released today, but normally it is more than capable of running games with a stable frame rate at 1080p.

This card meets game requirements up to DirectX 12.

We take a look at game performance achieved on this graphics card when running 2022 popular games. This short Radeon RX 5600M game hardware review looks at the graphics card frame rate performance on Ultra graphics settings at 1080p, 1440p and 4K screen resolutions. The Radeon RX 5600M can run the recommended graphics system requirements for 722 games today, of the top 1000 most demanding.

The 1080p FPS on Ultra for the Radeon RX 5600M shows us that Far Cry 6 is getting a playable result of 29 FPS, and then we are seeing Battlefield 2042 returning a weak 20 FPS while another game on our list is the Back 4 Blood which is getting 47 frames per second at Ultra 1080p.

One of the growing popular screen resolutions for PC gaming is the wider 1440p. So we wanted to see how well the Radeon RX 5600M performed at 1440p by taking a look at some of the current popular games. First we looked at Battlefield 2042 and saw it deliver weak frames per second across the following graphics settings - Low: 39 FPS, Medium: 31 FPS, High: 21 FPS and Ultra: 15 FPS. We then checked the performance on Back 4 Blood to see if that runs well. It was playable with a 36 FPS at Ultra 1440p.
