I'm still using this as my one and only drive! And I am quickly running out of room :( I used to be able to store numerous games from my Steam library and other non-Steam games on it, but in the past few years, game file sizes have skyrocketed, and so I have to pick and choose which games I want to keep, and which ones I want to play through…and then uninstall…to make room for more---when I used to just, you know, keep everything.
I will say, however, that it's served me very well, with no problems. I'm only seeing 6 reallocated sectors.

…and I've used this since 2009, through Windows Vista, 7, and 10.

I don't think the release period is correct - it can't be 2004 ! Should be like 2009/2010 !

I agree with almost everyone commenting on this. This HDD runs at 6Gbps! To give this HDD a rating of 4/10 is incorrect. I use an SSD to run my OS and applications, but I store all my games, videos, music, and other media on this HDD and it works very well.

It's rated a 4 in GD rating because of SSDs however this rating is rather good considering it's a HDD.

Why is this rated so low?
It's meant to be one of the fastest HDDs around, yet ranks lower than a Caviar Blue!
Can someone explain this please? :O

Agreed! I had to get an add on PCIex1 card to use it at the SATA 6Gb/s.

Is it plausible then? it has the SATA III interface at 6Gbps, but with such Drive limitation SATA II is adequate :)
