I think the higher ranked hard disks are ssd, since they are way faster than HDD

The thing is that your disk doesn't give you any fps. The only use you can find for an ssd is to boot your pc faster, and maybe some faster writing. I have that WD, using windows 8 x64 and my pc gets me in the windows 8 start screen in 12 seconds from the moment i hit the I/O button. Well i believe the gamer doesn't need an ssd, it is just a market trick so we ll spend more.
