In a nut shell: This is a full 1TB hard drive with 8GB SSD that loads in your most used programs or games and acts just like a regular SSD.

Not sure why this drive only gets a 5 rating. Should be more like 7 or an 8 IMO…

Is it Worth paying that little extra for this hard drive with a small SSD chip or should I stick to a regular Hdd if a full SSD isn't an option for me atm?

first of all i want to make you know that SSHD don't use the 8gb SSD inside them as a storage … it cache the most frequent things you use for faster reading process … so you will have much faster boot time and some apps the loads faster

SSHD's are hybrid drives. The 8GB is flash memory that remembers the most used apps and programs that you use on a regular basis. This will in effect act and perform like a SSD for those programs! If all you do is play BF4 all day then BF4 will be stored in the 8GB flash memory and load just like a regular SSD…

how long you have been using it ? and I'm talking here about reliability , I know that this drive preform much more better with its SSD-Like speed than WD black , and I'm wondering how much application or what ever it can remember ?

Is there a particular reason this SSHD only gets a 5/10? It's the only part of my rig-to-be that scores below 8 stars on here, so I'd like to know why it scores like this.

GD treats hybrids are regular hard drives even tho the hybrid is 50% to 100% faster overall.
