The GeForce GTX 770 MSI Lightning Edition is a very low performing piece of gaming hardware and can probably only run indie system requirements.

DirectX 12 gaming system requirements will be met by this gpu.

What FPS performance can the GeForce GTX 770 MSI Lightning Edition get on latest AAA 2022 games? In particular our game review looks at the FPS achieved running on Ultra graphics settings on the 1080p screen resolution as well as 1440p and 4K. This card runs recommended graphics requirements of 256 games from the top 1000 most demanding games being played today.

With 1080p being the most common gaming resolution at the moment we explored how well the GeForce GTX 770 MSI Lightning Edition can run Grand Theft Auto VI at 1080p and predict it will return weak frame rates at the following graphics settings - Low: 1 FPS, Medium: 1 FPS, High: 1 FPS and Ultra: 1 FPS. For performance contrast we can see that FIFA 22 returns a good 62 FPS at Ultra 1080p.

One of the growing popular screen resolutions for PC gaming is the wider 1440p. So we wanted to see how well the GeForce GTX 770 MSI Lightning Edition performed at 1440p by taking a look at some of the current popular games. First we looked at Grand Theft Auto VI and predict it will deliver weak frames per second across the following graphics settings - Low: 1 FPS, Medium: 1 FPS, High: 1 FPS and Ultra: 0 FPS. We then checked the performance on FIFA 22 to see if that runs well. It was reasonable with a 47 FPS at Ultra 1440p. Running games at 1440p with a GeForce GTX 770 MSI Lightning Edition is not a first choice gaming resolution. While this graphics card would likely be more suited to 1080p gaming, you may be able to make some graphical tweaks in the game options to improve your stability at 1440p.

GeForce GTX 770 MSI Lightning Edition Game Requirement Analysis

GeForce GTX 770 MSI Lightning Edition is a special edition of the high-end GeForce GTX 770.
This edition comes with a custom dual fan cooling solution which by itself should allow a slight performance boost, as GeForce GTX 770 benefits from the GPU Boost 2.0 technology.
Also, it has been overclocked out of the box from 1046MHz to 1150MHz while its boost clock is now of 1202MHz. The memory clock was left untouched.
Benchmarks indicate a 7.5% performance boost when compared to the reference card and so this edition performs very slightly better than GeForce GTX 590.
