The Tesla K40c is a very low performing piece of gaming hardware and can probably only run indie system requirements.

Lets look at the Tesla K40c game performance guide for some of the biggest games played in 2023. In particular we will see how well this graphics card runs on Ultra settings on 1080p resolution as well as 1440p and 4K. In comparison to the game recommended requirements of the 1000 most demanding games played today this PC hardware can run 215.

Now onto the frame rates achieved at 1080p. We are seeing Far Cry 6 getting 0 FPS with the Tesla K40c, Days Gone getting 23 FPS and Back 4 Blood getting 32 frames per second. All run on Ultra at 1920x1080 screen res.

One of the growing popular screen resolutions for PC gaming is the wider 1440p. So we wanted to see how well the Tesla K40c performed at 1440p by taking a look at some of the current popular games. First we looked at Far Cry 6 and saw it deliver weak frames per second across the following graphics settings - Low: 0 FPS, Medium: 0 FPS, High: 0 FPS and Ultra: 0 FPS. We then checked the performance on Days Gone to see if that runs well. It was weak with a 18 FPS at Ultra 1440p. 1440p Tesla K40c PC gaming is not a viable PC gaming choice.
