This short Radeon R9 280X Sapphire Dual-X 3GB OC Edition game hardware review looks at the graphics card frame rate performance on Ultra graphics settings at 1080p, 1440p and 4K screen resolutions. Of the 1000 most demanding recommended specs found in game requirements today, this gpu is more powerful than the graphics requirement of 240 games in todays list.

Radeon R9 280X Sapphire Dual-X 3GB OC Edition Game Requirement Analysis

Radeon R9 280X Sapphire Dual-X 3GB OC Edition is a special edition of the high-end Radeon R9 280X.
This edition comes with a custom cooling system called "Dual-X", which reduces the card's temperature under load, significantly and comes overclocked out of the box in the central unit that was increased from 850MHz to 870MHz, while the Boost clock is now of 1020MHz.
Benchmarks indicate a very slightly 1% performance boost over the standard edition and so a GeForce GTX 770 is still more powerful.
