Nvidia GeForce GTX 770 Galaxy HOF 2GB Edition
10 Aug 2021 - Graphics card reviewed

The GeForce GTX 770 Galaxy HOF 2GB Edition is a very low performing piece of gaming hardware and can probably only run indie system requirements.

All games with system requirements of DirectX 12 or lower are met by this card.

We take a look at game performance achieved on this graphics card when running 2023 popular games. This short GeForce GTX 770 Galaxy HOF 2GB Edition game hardware review looks at the graphics card frame rate performance on Ultra graphics settings at 1080p, 1440p and 4K screen resolutions. Of the 1000 most demanding recommended specs found in game requirements today, this gpu is more powerful than the graphics requirement of 247 games in todays list.

A GeForce GTX 770 Galaxy HOF 2GB Edition card at 1080p is seeing a weak frame rate when running Forza Horizon 5 on Ultra - 9 FPS. Lets look at the performance its getting on Days Gone which is 30 FPS. To add a bit more variety lets see how the popular Star Citizen is predicted to perform on this hardware, which gets a playable 38 FPS.

Moving screen sizes up to 1440p we ran Forza Horizon 5 on the GeForce GTX 770 Galaxy HOF 2GB Edition to see that it got a weak set of frame rates. Here are the low to ultra results at 1440p - L: 18FPS, M: 14FPS, H: 10FPS, U: 7FPS. Another popular game to test at 1440p with this card was Days Gone which seemed weak in performance netting an Ultra FPS of 23 FPS. Finally we then took a look at Star Citizen where its predicted Ultra 1440p Frame rates were playable at 29 FPS. In summary we feel the GeForce GTX 770 Galaxy HOF 2GB Edition running at 1440p is not the best resolution for this GPU, but if you adjust some graphics settings, perhaps lowering to medium or low at 1440p then this graphics card might be ok.
