I have been running two of these in an SLI quad config for10 months with no issues. Yes not the best value money wise. And not ideal with a 4K or Multiple monitors as you need a card with more vram. But is a good card for my single monitor.

How much power would be required for 2 of these? would an RM850 be sufficient?

I would go a minimum of 900 but would prefer 1000-1300 just so You can add water cooling , more hdd's, ECG later if needed. It sucks when your system shuts down when you plug a peripheral in.

Is this worth getting or just 1 GTX770 Asus Direct CU II OC which would eventually be in an SLI?

Unless it's in the sub 600$ range this is going to be a complete waste of money, anything in the 600-700$ area would be completely useless since the 780ti is priced around the 700$ mark.
And again GD spec pages seem to think SLI/Crossfire means you add the memory of each GPU in the setup, this is wrong.

I find it quite amusing that you ask a question like that while claiming to have what could be considered the best Intel CPU and best nVidia GPU on the market….especially since you seem to think a 15% OC on either of them is necessary.
