10 Aug 2021 - Graphics card reviewed

While some games have more powerful requirements than this GPU, the GeForce GTX 780 Ti Gigabyte GHz Edition is only really challenged by the most demanding games released today, but normally it is more than capable of running games with a stable frame rate at 1080p.

All games with system requirements of DirectX 11 or lower are met by this card.

Lets look at the GeForce GTX 780 Ti Gigabyte GHz Edition game performance guide for some of the biggest games played in 2021. In particular we will see how well this graphics card runs on Ultra settings on 1080p resolution as well as 1440p and 4K. In terms of performance against the most demanding games today this graphics card can play 748 of the 1000 most demanding PC games beating their recommended requirements.

The GeForce GTX 780 Ti Gigabyte GHz Edition graphics card is predicted to return a reasonable performance on Back 4 Blood at 1080p of 58 frames per second at Ultra graphics settings. Another popular title that is good to benchmark graphics cards against is Forza Horizon 5 which we predict will get reasonable frame rates of 56 FPS. A third game we can look at on Ultra at 1080p is the popular Days Gone, which was getting 51 FPS under tests.

Increasing resolution to 1440p is something a number of PC gamers are doing today. We tested the GeForce GTX 780 Ti Gigabyte GHz Edition at 1440p and researched how Back 4 Blood might perform on it leading us to predict a playable set of FPS results. These were, Low: 116 FPS, Medium: 91 FPS, High: 61 FPS and Ultra: 44 FPS. We then checked out Forza Horizon 5 which we predict would have a set of graphics results as followed, L: 113FPS, M: 89FPS, H: 60FPS, U: 43FPS. And another popular game was Days Gone that returned L: 103FPS, M: 81FPS, H: 54FPS, U: 39FPS at 1440p. In summary we feel the GeForce GTX 780 Ti Gigabyte GHz Edition running at 1440p is a reliable performer at this larger resolution for modern games. The graphics card will be good to run 1440p on Ultra or High settings.

GeForce GTX 780 Ti Gigabyte GHz Edition Game Requirement Analysis

GeForce GTX 780 Ti Gigabyte GHz Edition is a special edition of the high-end GeForce GTX 780 Ti.
This edition comes with a custom triple fan cooling solution which by itself should allow a slight performance boost, as GeForce GTX 780 benefits from the GPU Boost 2.0 technology.
Also, it has been overclocked out of the box from 875MHz to 1085MHz while its boost clock is now of 1150MHz. The memory clock was left untouched.
Benchmarks indicate a 11% performance boost when compared to the reference card and so this card surpasses the mighty GeForce GTX 690.
