Radeon R9 M290X Game Requirement Analysis

Radeon R9 M290X is a high-end mobile graphics card based on the second revision of the GCN architecture.
It packs a Core codenamed Neptune XT which stirs from the Pitcairn XT Core used on the high-end desktop Radeon HD 7870. The Neptune XT Core offers the same core-configuration as the Pitcairn XT Core (1280:80:32) but has support for DirectX 11.2 and AMD's latest technologies, including AMD PowerTune technology but not AMD TrueAudio technology.
The central unit runs at 850MHz and goes up to 900MHz and the memory clock operates at 1200MHz. The rated TDP board is of 100W and thus Radeon R9 M290X is only suited for large laptops.
Radeon R9 M290X has been identified as a rebadged Radeon HD 8970M and will offer exactly the same performance. Thus, most demanding games can be played at high-settings fluently, using a 1080p resolution.
