This GeForce GTX 780 Zotac AMP! Edition graphics card is considered budget with poor modern game performance when playing anything more demanding than indie game requirements.

Capable of running games with up to a DirectX 11 requirement.

Here is a quick game performance synopsis for the AAA games played in 2022. In particular we focus on how well the GeForce GTX 780 Zotac AMP! Edition runs at Ultra graphics settings and what frames per second it is getting at 1080p, 1440p and 4K monitor resolutions. When considering how well this graphics card can run the 1000 most demanding games available today it can best 367 of the games’ recommended graphics requirements.

Looking at some of the modern popular games people are playing today the GeForce GTX 780 Zotac AMP! Edition is running Days Gone and delivering playable performances on 1080p Ultra, getting 43 frames per second. Comparing this to Far Cry 6 which is getting weak results, where it averages 18 FPS. Another popular game we looked at is Battlefield 2042, which is running at 6 frames per second.

GeForce GTX 780 Zotac AMP! Edition Game Requirement Analysis

GeForce GTX 780 Zotac AMP! Edition is a special edition of the high-end GeForce GTX 780.
This edition comes with a custom triple fan cooling solution which by itself should allow a slight performance boost, as GeForce GTX 780 benefits from the GPU Boost 2.0 technology.
Also, it has been overclocked out of the box from 863MHz to 1006MHz while its boost clock is now of 1058MHz. The memory clock was increased to 1552MHz.
Benchmarks indicate a 13% performance boost when compared to the reference card and so this edition performs reasonably better than GeForce GTX Titan.
