Looking closely at the graphics card frame rate performance on Ultra graphics settings at 1080p, 1440p and 4K screen resolutions. The GeForce GTX 590 SLI graphics card is returning a playable performance on Call of Duty: Modern Warfare at 1080p of 43 frames per second at Ultra graphics settings. Another popular title that is good to benchmark graphics cards against is Dragon Ball Z Kakarot which we saw got strong frame rates of 81 FPS. A third game we can look at on Ultra at 1080p is the popular Halo: Reach, which was getting 136 FPS under tests.

One of the growing popular screen resolutions for PC gaming is the wider 1440p. So we wanted to see how well the GeForce GTX 590 SLI performed at 1440p by taking a look at some of the current popular games. First we looked at Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and saw it deliver playable frames per second across the following graphics settings - Low: 87 FPS, Medium: 68 FPS, High: 46 FPS and Ultra: 33 FPS. We then checked the performance on Dragon Ball Z Kakarot to see if that runs well. It was good with a 61 FPS at Ultra 1440p. After a look at the popular games running at 1440p with the GeForce GTX 590 SLI, this is probably one of the better high resolution gaming options on the graphics card market.
